Open water, open eyes
La Ventana sits on the Gulf of California, an hour from La Paz, facing Cerralvo Island. The channel between them is deep, rich and quiet. This is not a beach day: it is a search.
You snorkel over reefs and set out to find marine mammals. Dolphins, orcas and sea lions live here year-round. Humpback, blue and sperm whales pass through in the Nov–Mar season; mobula rays gather in the Apr–Jun season. Sightings are never guaranteed — the sea decides, and that is the point.
Round-trip transportation from your hotel, snorkeling gear, snacks and water are included. A bilingual guide reads the water for you. You end the day with a snack on the shore of Cerralvo Island or Punta Arenas Beach.

Will I see orcas, whales or mobula rays?
Not necessarily. Dolphins, orcas and sea lions live in these waters year-round; humpback, blue and sperm whales are more frequent in the Nov–Mar season and mobula rays in the Apr–Jun season. Wild animals move freely, so sightings — orcas included — are never guaranteed. What we can promise is a day on the water with an experienced guide.
How many people do I need to book?
The Ocean Safari runs with a minimum of 4 travelers at $2,980 MXN per person. If you are fewer, write to us and we will tell you the options for your dates.
What is included?
