It is Chef Héctor Palacios's table, recognized in the Guía México Gastronómico 2026, and one of the places we recommend at La Paz City Map. ## What is Casamarte Casamarte is an oyster bar and grill built on a simple idea: serve the product of the day simply and honestly. The oysters arrive fresh from farms in the waters of Baja California Sur, and the fish and seafood are made for sharing, with nothing that hides where they came from. The menu is rounded out with signature mixology and Mexican wines. Behind it is Chef Héctor Palacios's philosophy: "eating is eating a story." Here an oyster is never just an oyster: it has a producer's name, a place of origin and a harvest date.
