7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in La Paz (exact time may vary depending on location). Board a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and meet your friendly guide.
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Scenic drive to the departure point for the whale watching tour in Magdalena Bay. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Baja California Sur along the way. The guide might share interesting facts about the area and the gray whales.
9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Arrival at the departure point. Receive a safety briefing from the tour guides and get fitted for any life jackets or other provided equipment. Use the restroom facilities if available (not always mentioned but a good idea to include).
Whale Watching Adventure:
9:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Board the whale watching boat and head out onto the calm waters of Magdalena Bay. The captain and crew will use their expertise to locate areas where gray whales are known to congregate. Keep your eyes peeled for these magnificent creatures!

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Enjoy a light snack and refreshments on board, as you take in the beauty of Magdalena Bay and share your excitement with fellow adventurers
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM:
Depending on the tour itinerary, you might visit a nearby island for additional activities (not always included). This could involve hiking, exploring the island’s ecosystem, or relaxing on a beach.1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Savor the fresh flavors of Baja California Sur cuisine.
2:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Scenic return boat ride to the departure point, soaking in the beauty of the coastline and potentially spotting other marine life.
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Disembark from the boat and board the air-conditioned vehicle for the return trip to your hotel in La Paz.
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Arrival at your hotel, filled with unforgettable memories of your encounter with the majestic gray whales!

Rochell R2024-01-21Great tour of Isla Espiritu Santo Great tour of Isla Espiritu Santo. They stop before getting on the boat at an Oxxo for you to get snacks or drinks as they only provided lunch: ceviche or a ham sandwich and nonalcoholic beverages. As the tour is few hours you may want to take snacks. They stopped where seals were hanging out and those who wanted to snorkel or swim could do so with a guide. They have wetsuits at office where you meet prior to going to the boat. I recommend renting a wet suit as the water is a little chilly. They then would make a few stops at other coves around the island for you to hang out, swim or snorkel and final stop at Balandra Beach for a short visit, but not able to go to shore (just FYI) as part of beach limitations with tours. Life jackets are provided by boat staff and a small restroom is on the boat too.
