Regular Cancellations: No refund will be issued if a client fails to show up, cancels with less than 24 hours notice, joins a tour after it starts, or leaves before completion. Exceptions may be made with prior agreement from La Paz City Map for undertaking only a portion of the activity.
Holiday Cancellations: During Christmas, New Year, and Easter seasons, the cancellation notice period is extended to 36 hours before the trip.
Deposits: Deposits are non-transferable to another person if a client cancels a trip or course.
Medical Cancellations: In cases of illness or medical conditions preventing participation, a written statement from a licensed physician is required. La Paz City Map will do their best to reschedule without extra cost. If rescheduling is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
Company Cancellations
La Paz City Map reserves the right to cancel tours due to weather conditions.
In cases of cancellation, clients will receive a full refund of any deposits paid. La Paz City Map may also offer an alternative trip. If the client declines the alternative, La Paz City Map may deduct administrative costs.
Force Majeure: La Paz City Map is not responsible for compensation if cancellations or itinerary changes occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, such as war, riots, strikes, natural disasters, fires, or extreme weather.
Modification of Reservations
Clients can change their activity date with 48 hours notice, subject to availability and weather. La Paz City Map reserves the right to approve the change.
Additional Notes
La Paz City Map may exclude clients from tours for illegal activity, causing danger or disruption to others, or being under the influence of alcohol/drugs. No refunds will be issued in these cases.
Staff disruptions may result in partial refunds for the unused portion of a tour (not client-initiated disruptions).
