This was one of the most interesting and informative tours we have ever taken. Ivan, one of the owners, gave us the history of pearls going back several thousand years. He then showed us the process of cultivating oysters from the earliest stages through their life cycle. We watched as he surgically implanted the marble that results in the formation of a pearl. He and his partners were very well educated, skillful and charming. We highly recommend this tour.
