Why this tour
## The beach day that leaves early for Balandra
Balandra is a shallow, turquoise bay inside a Protected Natural Area, and land access is organized in daily slots. That is why this day starts early: we pick you up at your downtown La Paz hotel and head straight for the first available slot, when the beach is at its quietest.
At Balandra you get free time to swim in the calm water, walk the shoreline and photograph the mushroom-shaped rock, the bay's signature. Then we continue to Tecolote Beach, on the Gulf of California, for a more relaxed pace: beach time and a seaside lunch before returning to La Paz.
It is a beach day without the logistics: transport, bilingual guide and Protected Natural Area permits are handled. Ideal for couples, families and small groups who want nature and rest in a single day. Here the whole day belongs to the beaches.
## Itinerary
1. 6:30 am**Pickup at your downtown hotel**
We head straight for the morning slot at Balandra.
2. Morning**Balandra Beach**
Free time: swim, snorkel, walk the shoreline and take the mushroom-rock photo. Umbrellas and chairs set up.
3. Midday**Tecolote Beach**
Beach time and a seaside lunch, facing Espíritu Santo Island.
4. ≈ 2:30 pm**Back at your hotel**

### About access to Balandra
Balandra is a Protected Natural Area and land entry depends on daily, capacity-limited slots set by the environmental authority. We leave early to go for the first slot, but entry cannot be guaranteed. If we miss the slot, we visit the Balandra lookout and extend your day at Tecolote at no extra cost.

What to bring
Swimsuit, towel, comfortable shoes, reef-safe sunscreen and a hat. Drones are not allowed.
Reduced mobility
Beach and sand terrain. If anyone in your group has reduced mobility, message us on WhatsApp before booking and we will check the best option.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Within 24 hours it is non-refundable.
## Meeting point
We pick you up at hotels and vacation rentals in downtown La Paz. If you are staying outside that area, meet us at our office: 5 de Mayo No. 11, local 1, Edificio Laura, between Álvaro Obregón and callejón 18 de Marzo, downtown.
